Potassium metabisulphite is an agent widely used in the wine and brewing industries. It prevents the development of unfavorable microflora in must undergoing fermentation. Potassium metabisulphite protects wine equipment against infections and eliminates the presence of so-called wild yeast.

Used for finished wines, it stops fermentation and stabilizes color and clarity.

How to use:

Depending on the use of the product:

1. to stabilize the must: 1 g per 10 L of must. Dissolve the appropriate portion in 50-100 ml of water, add to the mixture and mix thoroughly.

2. to stabilize the wine before pouring it into bottles: 1 g per 10 L of wine. Dissolve the appropriate portion in 50-100 ml of water, add to the mixture and mix thoroughly.

3. for flushing equipment: 10 g per 2 L of water. Use the prepared solution to rinse balloons, fermentation containers, bottles, presses, barrels previously washed with detergents and rinsed with water. Do not use water after rinsing with potassium metabisulfite.

Potassium metabisulphite solution is unstable and should therefore be prepared immediately before use. After rinsing, the solution cannot be reused. Due to the characteristic, sharp sulfur odor, it is recommended to use the product only in well-ventilated areas.

Prima product voor een goede prijs. Levering was snel, twee dagen na bestelling had ik het product in huis.

De gebruiksaanwijzing is alleen in het pools. En die taal ken ik nu net niet. En ik heb geen poolse buren die dit voor mij kunnen vertalen. Das heel vervelend dat men hier geen rekening mee houd.
