Item Description:
This heavy meat tenderizer was made from local cherry wood and then oiled. Cherry wood develops its characteristic reddish color through the oiling and the pronounced grain is even more pronounced. From wood of the cherry tree, among other very high quality kitchen utensils are made. The meat hammer is occupied by two metal parts with different structure. The one metal fitting has a fine structure with small tips (see picture) and on the other side the metal is rather roughly equipped with elongated elevations. The finely ground and oiled handle fits comfortably in the hand. Note: This item will be delivered oiled. Therefore please avoid contact with sensitive surfaces. To ensure that you enjoy this product for a long time, please note the following: If oiling through use and cleaning reduces the product rub with hot vegetable oil (tasteless) or paraffin oil (medicinal white oil, paraffinum (per) liquidum). Add overnight and rub off excess oil. Repeat this treatment regularly in the future. Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, do not leave the product in water for a long time, but clean thoroughly with warm water and scouring powder for thorough cleaning. Then put upright and allow to air dry.
