Many insects are very useful for people and the environment; they pollinate flowers and provide an ecological balance by controlling insect pests. Additionally, insects are an important part of the ecological cycle, even in the garden!
Pests and many disturbances of the natural habitat of wild bee species eg lacewings and has significantly reduced the number of natural nesting and wintering sites. In the Netherlands, some bee species threatened with extinction!

The Insect Hotel offers beneficial insects in the summer a nesting and resting place, and in the cold months a suitable winter quarters. The beneficial insects nest to their own needs in the different rooms.
