Pot press
Simple Pot Press to make your own press pots for sowing. A hard-plastic pot press with a spring and a button.

You make a mixture of 4 parts of soil and 1 part of sand. Mix well and add water until everything is considerably wet. So wet that it has to stay in shape when you squeeze it. Then fill the Pot Press, turn around and press the button properly. The intention is to obtain a block that is sturdy enough not to fall apart and that is light enough to sow well.
Not too hard, but not too soft pressing. Press the pots out of the Pottenpers. There is a hole in the middle for sowing.

Not suitable for plants with a firm root, such as beans, corn, sunflowers, pumpkins, artichoke. The carrot grows quickly through the pot.
