Hatching fertilized hatching eggs is serious business. Because many chicken breeds have been bred over the years that no longer naturally become broody, it is often impossible to avoid using an incubator to breed.

If a hen does not sit properly and is careful with the eggs, it may just be that she leaves the nest just before the eggs hatch, causing the chicks to die a slow death.
So always make sure that you have a stable and good hen, if that is not the case, we advise you to definitely use an incubator.
