Fermenting instead of composting Kitchen waste becomes nature-friendly soil improver

Odorlessly processing kitchen waste into valuable organic material. This is possible with the Bokashi bucket. For example, there is also a good solution for the processing of household green waste for small-scale residents. That sounds too good to be true. Little Earth took the test!
It is a known problem in many households. The kitchen waste already starts to rot in the green kitchen bin and creates an unpleasant smell. The Bokashi bucket offers a solution for this. Bokashi is Japanese for 'well-fermented organic matter'. This fermentation takes place in two handy kitchen buckets of about 40 centimeters high.

Soil improver
Fermenting in the special Bokashi bucket gives the kitchen waste a higher nutritional value without rotting. There is no stench. After fermentation, the contents of the Bokashi bucket are ready for processing in the garden: the end product can be worked into the ground as an important soil conditioner. Plants get more energy and a greater resistance to harmful bacteria and fungi.

Use
Using the Bokashi kitchen bucket is very simple. Vegetable waste can be thrown into the bucket in small pieces. Once a layer of kitchen waste has formed, the user covers the waste layer or with Bokashi starter. This is supplied in ready-to-use bags with the Bokashi kitchen bucket. Bokash starter causes the organic waste to ferment and prevents rotting. After adding Bokashi starter, chopped organic waste can be thrown into the bucket again. In this way the Bokashi bucket becomes full layer by layer. The term for filling is approximately 2 weeks.

Nutritious juice
When the bucket is full, the real processing process begins in an oxygen-poor environment. This takes about 1 to 2 weeks. During this processing period, the second Bokashi bucket, which is standard in the starter package, is placed in the kitchen to deposit the organic waste. Every day, the consumer can tap a nutrient-rich juice via a tap on the kitchen bucket. This juice, if well diluted, is an ideal plant food for indoor and garden plants.
