Recipe for a vegan pate
According to the food pyramid, fruits and vegetables are the most important components of a healthy diet, which in practice means that they should make up as much as half of what we eat.
The proportions are also important - as much as 3/4 of this group should be vegetables. The recipe below is therefore one of the ideas on how we can include them in our diet.
The recipe will satisfy not only people who want to eat healthier, but also those who want to avoid meat and other animal products completely. It's enough to choose the right seasoning for the vegetable pie to be an ideal addition to kids' sandwiches - who don't always love vegetables on the plate.

How do you make vegan pate?

Preparation:
Dice the onion and fry in a pan with a tablespoon of oil and a pinch of sugar. Finally, add the garlic that has been pressed through the garlic press into the pan.
Put the prepared mass in a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients (except oatmeal, breadcrumbs), season and mix well until smooth.
Add oat flour and mix well with a mixer. This is the time when you can try the mass and correct the taste.
Brush the well-prepared Romertopf mold with oil and sprinkle generously with breadcrumbs or oatmeal. Put the prepared mass in the mold. Brush the top of the mixture with oil, you can also decorate it with fresh parsley, for example. Bake the pâté at 170 ° C for 40-50 minutes until golden brown.

Note: If you are using a Romertopf mold, do not forget to put the pan in a cold oven. Placing it in an already preheated oven can damage it.
